For real, I do not think anybody should expect much of optical performance from such high ratio zoom. For its coverage, this lens is actually one of the better ones among high zoom ratio coverage DC. Its actually better than many of the high ratio zoom for DSLR !
I agree! So I wish to buy it before.

And as a DC of petite sized sensor, Noise is always there, Nobody should really expect much clean image beyond the base ISO.
It's so simple. Don't need anybody to remind us! Don't think that everybody is fool except you!!!
Moreover, compare the size, it must have bigger CCD size than the f100d. But the picture quality was shown worse obviously.
On the other hand, if it's position in the market is placed as a prosumer camera, quality below DSLR can be accept, if below a DC, how can we accepted?

My take on this, is that this DC is pretty much like the Sigma DP-1, Base ISO, RAW shooting platform. With some leeway for JPEG within reasonable aspect of shooting environment. And considering its 11MP, its JPEG is controlled enough for routine Web, monitor display and print.
I know and those your points were the reasons that I wish to buy for!

Getting too excited about 100% crop is IMHO over reacting. I do not view all these photo with full resolution at 100% crop just as I do not take my slide and view them at 30X or 40X ( this is the approximate Mag ratio when you do 100% crop on monitor ). If one download those full sized sample and resize them for full sized monitor display or print, then one realize that the problem stated is no longer a problem anymore just as grain in HIGH ISO film is not a problem once the size of neg is big or size of print is small.
It's a simple knowledge and common sense. Thanks for your remind but you can keep it. Thank you.
If the picture just resize to the A4 size and still have the problem. How can the customer accept it with nearly double the price of other DC?
